Charity Begins With A HomeWe believe that charity really does begin at home. A holistic approach to helping children and families means that we are not just interested in single issues, but we want to make sure that houses and homes are secure and comfortable, providing the best possible environment for children to flourish.
We know that having a home matters. That’s why we’ve launched our ‘Charity Begins With a Home’ project. We raise funds to repair, re-roof, rebuild and in some cases purchase homes for vulnerable families.
Under our ‘Honour’ project we recently purchased a plot of land on which we plan to build accommodation for otherwise destitute elderly people.
Meeting the fundamental human needs of shelter and security is not charity, it is our duty and it is wonderful to see the life transforming impact of this project.
CiCA UK deducts 5% from every donation to cover essential admin costs including the transfer of funds to Africa, where Gift Aid reclaims are made we allocate the refunds to the general fund to further the general aims and objectives of the charity.
